2012 Artist: Lindsey Ozier

You may have seen our previous post about Lindsey Ozier here. We're posting again because Lindsey dropped off her submission for the show yesterday, and it is stunning! It's a 40x30 acrylic on canvas. Lindsey's inspiration was the story of God's provision as Elisha and his servant were watching the army of the king of Aram (see below). Drop by to see it; make plans to come to the Preview Show on 9/18 from 4:30-6:30, or just be here for Art for Jobs on 9/20 from 5-8p. Come see this beautiful piece!

2 Kings 6:15-17: When the servant of the man of God got up and went out early the next morning, an army with horses and chariots had surrounded the city. "Oh no, my lord! What shall we do?" the servant asked. "Don't be afraid," the prophet answered. "Those who are with us are more than those who are with them." And Elisha prayed, "Open his eyes, Lord, so that he may see." Then the Lord opened the servant's eyes, and he looked and saw the hills full of horses and chariots of fire all around Elisha.
